Color of the letters and the paper, combination of traditions and techniques break the boundaries and multiply the possibilities. It’s a trip in the footsteps of Lukash, Skovoroda and Dzinsitiro. Satori and impromptu, insight and obscuration, kindred work and the search for beauty. An attempt to sew a doomed world with black threads

YAKOMOGA is built by the principles of life and haiku: as few words as possible, as many meanings as possible. Besides, the name rhymes with Victory (Peremoga in Ukrainian). The book was to be published in the spring of 2022, a year dedicated to Ukrainian philosopher Skovoroda. But the war came to Kyiv, dividing everything into before and after, white and black. Max volunteered and served in the South of Ukraine for six months, not stopping to record life and death in new conditions. These haiku YAKOMOGA begins with.

Glory to Ukraine!
